TechSoup Global has an upcoming Digital Story Telling contest, getting orgs to put together 60 second vid’s about what they do/who they are. Second Life and IRL at TechSoup HQ in SF. You can look at #sfaddis to see what they did recently from Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. It works really well.

So far, the only real strategy to analyze besides creating groups is the Causes application. Tim says it’s great to see thousands of people join the Oxfam cause, but he does not know who those people are and has no way to follow up with them. Regardless, very few orgs (though some) have raised real cash via the Causes app.
