My early days in social media were spent immersed in tagging and social bookmarking. Marnie Webb introduced me to the NpTech Tag and a whole nonprofit tech community embraced it. My first screencast was about tagging and featured the social bookmarking service, delicious. I hope he shares it.

Technorati tags can help you attract more readers for your blog and also facilitate contributing to the collective community wisdom surrounding a particular tag. Bookmarklets are simple tools that extend the bookmarking and search capabilities of web browser software. I've been researching screencasting software.

Screencasting Panel. Screencasts are a great new way to answer simple how-to's and record the answers to those frequently asked questions for posterity. A recording of your , the image on your screen, and some additional elements, screencasts are perfect for explaining how-to's for your applications and other specific, tactical uses.

Tagging and Social Bookmarking Social Bookmarking Showdown is a quick overview/review of the major social bookmarking services. What I really like that they are providing extensive help, including screencasts and live chat. Meanwhile Randal Moss gives us some food for thought about turnover in Social Network sites.
