Last year we shared how the American Childhood Cancer Organization (ACCO) used Teespring to exceed their fundraising goals with a few clicks of a button. Last year our ‘Go gold with kids for cancer’ campaign was a really successful campaign because it had such a clear statement that reflected with people.

During the pandemic, a new Guinness World Record for the most money raised by a charity walk (individual) was set by Captain Tom Moore who raised over $44.5 The campaign will improve the quality of life for lung cancer patients as well as fund leading non-small cell lung cancer research.

But if you look at the Campaign for Breast Cancer Research cause on Facebook, the largest one - it has over 3 million members. If all of them installed the application once, that would earn $60,000 for Breast Cancer Research.

I could literally see the American Cancer Society just across the street, but because they have not been added to FourSquare, the ACS didn’t show up in the Check-in search results. You will not accrue “Badges&# if you do not have a photo, nor will you become a “Mayor&#. I had no idea that they were nearby.

It is open to creators from all backgrounds – from charities to video game developers to artists. Kickstarter makes it clear that it isn't for direct charity or cause funding, but about project creation. Bottom line: I love Indiegogo's nonprofit perks, especially the verified nonprofit badge you can put on your page.
