Last December, I watched Twitter turn into a sea of frozen green peas to support Susan Reynolds in her fight against breast cancer and to raise money for research in her honor. Finally, I saw a manageable stream of information, and I began to see how I could benefit from it. People from the Austin area who are on Twitter and either came across the tweet-up or were in by someone else via tweet congregated to meet each other, and of course, donate blood. To follow the Twitter stream or ask questions or make comments, use the #ROI hashtag. A little birdy told the web team "We should use a twitter stream". David Neff, American Cancer Society David will be perform a spoken word and video poem about using Twitter to recruit blood donors and the Austin Twestival.

I am in Austin. My husband and I are very happy for this online streaming service… more than a Kol Nidre, you are making a mitzvah with us. Although I belong to a Synagogue, I am stuck at home recovering from cancer treatments. This is truly a wonderful option for those of us without access to live services. Bless You !!!

Got the citizens of Austin to sign their names enough times to get it on the ballot. So I actually moved home to Texas and started to work on a local initiative to do some water resource protection and did everything right. Went through the democractic system, went door-to-door.
