The first example of direct content is the use of Wikipedia during the 7/7 bombings in London. Millions of editors on Wikipedia and it’s rise in public use was climbing. Wikipedia was a popular resource and established as a citizen-driven information source. I will explain the use of mapping, fundraising, and crowdsourcing.

If you're curious about Occam's Razor, here's a more detailed description or see the simplicity page in wikipedia. Show example of Idealist tracking the different language versions and geographic distribution. I also keep fairly good track of the languages of visitors of our site.

The audio is fading a bit, so I've been thinking about what Mark wrote in his essay, " Sharing Power (Aussie Rules)" I read the essay three times, I mind mapped it, and have been noodling on it for an hour or two. The same sort of engine which powers Wikipedia can be put to work across a number of different “platforms”.
