Of all the projects presented, the Detroit Water Project might be the most well-known. The project has been able to help 900 families pay their water bills.

This project began as a Code for America project in Detroit. Prashant and his co-founders identified a need for local data about buildings and real estate in Detroit and discovered that the city was under-resourced when it came to the technical tools needed to collect it. It was the first project of its kind in 28 years.
