Then set up an account for your museum and follow a few other museums as well as people in your target market using a search for location or interest keywords. The profiles were the last thing added, when we were getting into the nature of the site itself. I'm a big advocate of the profile part, and want to see it used in other ways for members to contact each other. I think a cool thing is that we took a fair amount of push on the personal profiles.

Wikis don't explicitly acknowledge individuals with "profile power"--content is prioritized, not identity. Wikis are useful when a distributed team is designing a project together or managing a changing set of projects. Woody launched it with an email to the ASTC listserv--a good group to target for his content.
