And The Windows 8 Apps for Social Good Winners Are… In November Microsoft launched the first Windows 8 Apps for Social Good contest. The contest was a success in that judges had a hard time selecting the winners because of the quality and usefulness of the apps. Find the winning apps and the array of entries on the contest page.

According to the Global NGO Online Technology Report , Millennials are most inspired to give by social media. Hold contests. Create contests that reward fundraising activity. Not all fundraisers will change the “My Story” area. Allow them to change their goal at any time. Provide samples of everything.

If you are interested in community plumbing, here's rough diagram , although it might have changed since a few days ago. applications have changed the rules of online community. Someone on the 501 Tech Club NY list ( NTEN Affinity Group ) suggested a name change might be needed. There are two sets of social roles here.
