Julia Smith, who blogs at the idealist and was in the room asked "Where are the twenty something/millennial bloggers writing about social change, activism, and nonprofits?" I referenced Liza Sabater's Brown Bloggers meetups, but could not point to any studies or stats. No real hard data in them though, more trend/zeitgeist-type analysis. Blog is Beautiful Latino, Asian/Pacific Islander-American, and black bloggers. it just doesn't depend on them, bloggers say. Blogs Help Drive Jena Protest.

I attended two sessions with Christopher Penn - one on search engine optimization or how to make google love you with Julien Smith. Website grader - useful tool to search trends. SEO in firefox - extension lets you dig into your search results and tells you who your're doing. I love her writing about social media trends.

And something started to happen for me; I started to see a trend of women stepping up. What I do is, I write for several blogs, as she mentioned.
