Yesterday, I couldn't resist doing some macro photography of the cling peaches at the Mountain View Farmer's market. Make personal videos or audio. This isn't 1:1, but when you shoot personal video or make very personal audio, people get the sense that they've seen you, and that helps with the time between connections.

For background, in the 3 previous NMC conferences I have been involved with since starting my job there in 2006- we’ve done mainly a “tag this conference” approach where we ask people to tag photos, web sites, blog posts e.g. 2006 , 2007 , 2008 where I cobbled together some summary pages using mainly my own Feed2JS code.

I know everyone maybe thinks of Twitch and they think of gamers and video games. You don’t have to have any photography experience, any videography experience because I don’t and I made a 360 video and it was really pretty cool. I recommend joining it and just watching a bunch of videos. Totally free.
