In-world speakers from nonprofits who spoke about their work included Evonne Heyning from Camp Darfur, Barry Joseph from Global Kids , Lori Bell from the Library Alliance , and Marc Sirkin from LLS. I also turned off my audio. Both events had their share of clunkiness. that didn't last long or ruin the event.

I liked the audio welcome message at this site. Save Darfur. and in two months we've got over 100 "friends", one volunteer, and heaps of petition sign-ups (not to mention an unmeasurable education value). Here's a list of Nonprofit Myspaces that I visited quickly. I can't seem to get handle on myspace ugliness.

Department of Education gave us a major award on September 28, 2007. In this photo, Tyler is listening to a book from Bookshare.org on his school's laptop with the assistance of the Kurzweil 3000 audio software. Our newest human rights project is looking closely at the human rights challenges in Darfur.

The Exploratorium did the solar eclipse, and the US Holocaust Memorial Museum is doing all kinds of programs around Darfur.
