At the museum of art and history where I work, we are grappling with the question of how to help people enjoy themselves while keeping the art and artifacts safe. The level of touching, especially of art, has increased. How will we deal with this? all over the place.

Navigation by Recommendation: Lessons Learned from a Little Experiment

I spent some time playing with this question last week at the Milwaukee Art Museum, a large general museum that is moving toward redesign of the permanent galleries. They were okay talking to us, but weren't willing to have something written down or their photo taken. That packaging was in the photos, not the cards.

So another client of mine, Upstream Arts, they provide programming in the Minneapolis schools, the Milwaukee School District, and I think they’re going to a couple other states now. This is a stock photo. So Free Arts Minnesota, I gave them $100 gift.
