The project was developed by Elizabeth Briel , an American artist and photographer, who will be based in Siem Reap as of June, 2005. C4C will put cameras in the hands of children aged 10-16. My own little action learning project.

Since many of your board members are professionals in the charitable space, they likely know other high impact supporters to contact and request gifts from. You can even contact car clubs in the area by looking up “vintage car clubs” or make-specific car clubs (corvette clubs are a popular one).

So I just want to say, by the way, that artists have left a huge legacy around San Francisco during this pandemic. And this happens at all different ages, so you don’t want to just contact old people.

The children are ages 6-16, and they're making huge strides by leading a national movement against child rape in Zimbabwe. Right at the end of that period, I also was teaching. And second, I was exhausted from having continued to do consulting and teaching at the same time. And, their weapon is poetry.

When Sophia contacted me and asked if I would talk here, my first thought was, "You know, I could talk here, but I just know so many amazing women who have stories that I want to share."
