The geek in me thinks the Convio APIs are wicked cool, since they allow you to do client programming via AJAX, as well as more standard server-based programming. Convio has, seemingly, gotten some serious Web 2.0 They work by REST via POST, or JSON. Be Helpful.

It was really hard to try and write new applications building on a framework I’d written a while ago, while simultaneously improving that framework, and keeping up with new things such as Ajax and RSS, mostly by myself.
