In the past, I have presented remotely using skype audio and video. Last year I audio-skyped into a conference in the UK to present with Steve Bridger. For the audio, we use a phone line that was fed into the AV system and wireless mic. What advice do you have for remote presenting? Talk about multi-tasking.

I would bring the laptop and plug into the phone line and do demos in small groups. There wouldn't be a local node or the phone had some weirdness that prevented me from dialing out successfully. Like the time I was doing a session in an artists loft and the phone jack was 150 feet away and my phone cord was only 125 feet.

I was able to find some research and pieces about laptops in the classroom. One piece of advice that I learned from Cliff Atkinson's book was to think about your presentation key points as tweets so people can retweet them. They're done on the phone and chat. Can you add audio with slideshare? ( Know of any? look here ).
