Nick Bilton, a tech columnist for The New York Times , wrote that we could find ourselves in a situation where a medical AI that is programmed to eliminate cancer decides that the way to do it is by exterminating humans who are prone to the disease. I think this is fair to say we have leading minds on both sides of the issue.
