From a museum perspective, I think there's a lot to learn from these venues' business models, approach to collecting and exhibiting work, and connection with their audiences. It's run by Jon Rubin, an artist and professor of social practice at Carnegie Mellon, and his students. Elsewhere Collaborative (Greensboro, NC).

Every other year, they convene TUPAC, a group of 35 outside advisors, including teens, college students, Temple University professors, artists, philanthropists, and community leaders. The cuts were so deep that school music rooms are full of unplayable instruments. Some students folding clothes. Artsy journals.

We consider anything intended for public consumption to be “published,” so while our collection is very broad, we draw the line at correspondence or personal journals. Some of the new volunteers are high school students, others are college professors. This Pop Up Library just returned from a folk music festival.

Forum One partnered with the Museum to launch their new brand to the world. This work not only included launching a new website but also revitalizing the American Jazz Museum brand as a whole. It also won the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture a Silver Vega Award!

The app includes journals and trackers to allow parents to record important information about their journey, a glossary of commonly used terms, a community and resource library, directory of NICU family support partners, a postpartum checkup, and more. We partnered with the Museum to launch their new brand to the world.
