The first example of direct content is the use of Wikipedia during the 7/7 bombings in London. Millions of editors on Wikipedia and it’s rise in public use was climbing. Wikipedia was a popular resource and established as a citizen-driven information source. I will explain the use of mapping, fundraising, and crowdsourcing.

Wikipedia gives you a fairly verbose definition , the dictionary gives a similar, but less wordy definition that I think is simpler to grasp. “An An [ecological] community together with its environment,functioning as a unit.”. Teaming up with a local nonprofit to map out a historic walk. What’s an Ecosystem?
