These nonprofits have gotten really good at making it easy for people to understand how their donation will make a difference. If someone gives you a donation of $100, that’s great. That’s $240 for the year, which is more than the person who gave two $100 donations. Let’s look at the math. Here’s a story of my own about that.

And then another program is Reclaim the Future, which is one our newest projects, that is addressing green-color jobs and building opportunities for low-income people, formerly convicted people, and communities of color in this new green economy. I was a ski bum for a winter, and landed one week in Austin, Texas and got a job waiting tables.
