Once you receive the invitation to join Pinterest, simply follow the instructions to create an account. Only add your location if you are a location-based nonprofit, such as a museum, zoo, performing arts venue, etc.: Sign up for a Pinterest Account and set up your Pinterest Profile. Edit/Set up your Pinboards.

Last night's event brought back memories for me - of what it was like 13 years ago doing demonstrations at nonprofit conferences about online communities for arts organizations.

To be eligible for the prize, your exhibit must be on the theme of "Art, Film, Music & Technology." We know there are lots of people out there who have been "peeking in" on Second Life for awhile now, reading the articles, seeing the videos, maybe even creating an avatar. But no one was going to read all that text.

It was my most memorable virtual presentation as my avatar was June Jetson and I made a flying entrance into the auditorium to the tune of the Jetson’s theme song. This year, Alan invited me to present a webinar for participants in the Marcus Institute Digital Education for the Arts on how Networked Nonprofits use Facebook.
