In reflecting on the sample, I’ve made some broad reflections on museum workers and visitors. Our visitors often see museums as a genre, not unlike hospitals or libraries. In this case, I find the most interesting ones to be made by artists. The American Museum of Natural History had two wonderful moments happening this summer.
