The team I met were working on multimedia literacy content as part of Bookbox, and were busy using Adobe products to deliver cool ways to learn to read. In addition to a print book, they have multimedia content that animates the characters and adds audio narration. They are already well past doing just Indian languages.

The best way to avoid this type of action is to ask for permission or purchase a license. Here’s a list of equipment and software I’ve used in the past to create 5-10 minute demo videos: Microphone: Audio-Technica. Software: Adobe Premier , Audacity , ScreenCast-O-Matic (only if you plan to capture video of your desktop).
