Two recent events have got me thinking about pranks and unauthorized activities in museums. Improv Everywhere staged an event at the Metropolitan Museum in which an actor posing as King Philip IV of Spain signed autographs in front of his portrait, as painted by Diego Velazquez in the 1620s.

Techsoup, a project from CompuMentor, is the technology place for nonprofits on the Web) So it makes sense that they should open a virtual office on Second Life. In fact, I met a librarian from Spain last night while wandering around. At the Full Moon Museum in front of the ACS Donation Box. So I joined.
