One of our first programs is our culinary school in Port-Au-Prince, which helps train aspiring chefs from Haiti and give them the skills they need to obtain jobs in Haiti’s growing tourism industry. We had over 20,000 volunteers in Puerto Rico alone, most of whom were Puerto Ricans who had been impacted by the hurricane themselves.

What we're trying to do is generate enough support to indicate that we need these announcements out of the auto industry to translate into something tangible. We see this as a potential future for transportation, or at least an immediate step to having ultra-efficient choices in vehicles for the public.

In one day, more than 20 students from 6 universities and five AIDS organizations hit the streets with only cellphone video cameras to produce 8 short video messages to encourage youth to be tested for HIV. As a result, over 44,000 student applied in 1.5 Centers for Disease Control and the University of Georgia’s New Media Institute.
