IDP’s pilot program in Ghana started with initial enrollment of 27,000 children and now is expected to reach a total of 150,000 children by July 2017. The program’s successes can be attributed to IDP’s ability to work with local government education frameworks and build strong partnerships with local stakeholders.

I've now documented women's lives in 40 countries, over the past 10 or 12 years, and everywhere I went, I found women who were helping each other, local women. In the last 20 years, they have given grants in the amount of almost $60 million to women in 164 countries. But they are not resting on their laurels.

I think it's worth it (: Kavita Ramdas: The Global Fund for Women is the largest independent, publicly supported grant-making foundation to advance women's human rights internationally. Therefore, we are the only foundation I know of that will accept requests in any language, and in any format.
