Too bad it’s so hard to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF files on them – or is it? All of them view office documents including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files on various types of smartphones, but to varying degrees of effectiveness. You can view and edit Word and Excel files but just view PowerPoint files.

As smartphones mature, we’re doing more on them and less on our laptops. Microsoft Office Mobile is preinstalled on Windows Phone 8 and is available for select models of iPhone and Android phones as well. There is a ton of info on how telework helps the environment and is considered part of green technology.

Tablet sales are up 53% while laptop and desktop computers are down 11% from the previous year. Green Technology. Neverware’s pricing is a subscription model – monthly per PC fee. It also has back-end tools including hosted Exchange (email), SharePoint (file serving), and Lync (messaging and conferencing).
