I found it because I have an RSS feed for a twitter search on the nptech tag. Provide quick human answers to your followers, ask questions, direct people to great resources (not your own 1:20 ratio - point to one of your resources for every twenty resources), stay in touch without being intrusive, no when to direct message, be funny, etc.

I use a variety of tools for this analysis, including Google Analytics, Feedburner subscriber counts, and manually tracking comment to post ratios (typepad doesn't have a nifty plugin like wordpress to automate that grunge work) A tool that use to evlauate my content is PostRank.

It takes your RSS feed and applies engagement metrics, analyzing the types and frequency of an audience's interaction with your content. I'm also having some problems with lumping all the engagement measures together, although it's good for a quick and dirty analysis. Is the number of comments the sole measure for success of a blog?
