The conference had fast and reliable wifi and many had their laptops opened and were tweeting before the conference started – so I encouraged using Twitter as a back channel. I would bring the laptop and plug into the phone line and do demos in small groups. And I had to tape flip chart paper over the windows so it would get dark enough to project the laptop to show the presentation. I wanted to use more video examples, but only selected one that was more of a music video in case the audio didn't work.
