But basically, the important things are: how easy it is to set up, audio, image quality, and price. Then there’s the throw ratio, which is how big the image is in relation to how far it is from the surface. I didn’t find the need for external speakers, but there is a 3.5mm audio output to hook them up if you want. there’s a lot.

speakers on either side (or top and bottom in portrait) provide decent if slightly tinny sound, and a small row of buttons on the top or side (depending on orientation) offer volume up / down, mute, and camera shutter controls. One downside, however, is the 16:9 ratio of the screen means you get two black bars when watching widescreen movies.

My model came in a shiny white colorway, with the letters “HONOR” tiled across its back, and there’s also a garish sparkly silver color option available alongside more conventional black and green options. Around front, the Honor 50 has a 6.57-inch inch 1080p OLED display, with a 19.5:9 There’s no IP-rating and no wireless charging.
