So he cautioned me that some of the information might not be entirely up to date that he shared on listserv including a pointer to his awesome slide show with audio. For instance, when we first started organizing on Facebook in 2005, we found many existing groups on campuses working to end the genocide in Darfur.

The photo above was taken at last night's TechSoup Mixed Reality Event. In-world speakers from nonprofits who spoke about their work included Evonne Heyning from Camp Darfur, Barry Joseph from Global Kids , Lori Bell from the Library Alliance , and Marc Sirkin from LLS. I also turned off my audio.

I liked the audio welcome message at this site. Save Darfur. Here's a list of Nonprofit Myspaces that I visited quickly. One thing that struck me is that difference in style/look and feel - from say this profile and this one. I can't seem to get handle on myspace ugliness. In this photo, Tyler is listening to a book from Bookshare.org on his school's laptop with the assistance of the Kurzweil 3000 audio software. Our newest human rights project is looking closely at the human rights challenges in Darfur. Humanity United (founded by Pam Omidyar) funded this work.
