I've been struggling with this technique because I can't quite get my face in the frame correctly by holding the camera out in front of me. When I saw Steve Garfield model this technique in his workshop at Boston Podcamp , I realized my problem! Any advice? I didn't believe her. but tried it anyway. Practice does help.

The next technique that I am exploring in my screencasting/videocasting skill set is the addition of music. Lack of technical skills or software tools in cutting, splicing, fading the audio and weaving it with the video track. Thanks to my new friend, Uncle Seth (aka Jay Moonah ) and what I learned at Boston PodCamp , this is not true.
