That sounds outrageous, right? In 1984, the Houston Oilers drafted me as a top safety during the NFL draft. I spent the next 15 years acting, taking any role I could. I’m proof that this attitude can succeed. The difference is, the best get back up, right the ship and recommit. But it’s true. I didn’t goof around.

I have been in philanthropic development for nearly 20 years and started my career as an event-based fundraiser, worked into individual giving throughout Southwest Louisiana, Houston, and then moved here four years ago.
