The first photo of hers from Cambodia was this one of the four monks crossing the street titled Abbey Road. So, it may be less of an organizational attitude of "Help, my fundraising has been abducted by aliens."

My thoughts are still half-way around the world in Cambodia and, in the US, we don't have the added challenge of a slow Internet connection.
