Although plastic is the most damaging form of waste, as it doesn’t biodegrade, unfortunately ‘compostable’ alternatives like cornstarch-based plastic packaging or paper aren’t much better. Even reusable products like washing up cloths should be swapped for biodegradable, non-plastic alternatives. Make your voice heard.
