Set a fundraising goal to sponsor a nail color on National Nail Polish Day (June 1) in the spirit of Movember. Think a walk-a-thon meets those highway sponsorship programs: Get supporters to sponsor teams at a rate of $X per pound of trash collected. Allow people to pay to sponsor a duck and put their name or number on it.
