Citrix cites Gartner Device Shipment Forecasts that find that the business PC market will grow at a rate of about 10% per year for the next few years. IT and telecom research firm Gartner Dataquest found that the secondary PC market is growing rapidly: 55 million PCs worldwide in 2004; and 86 million 2007.

This is similar to the success of projects like Restart Romania in which social activists got help to develop online tools to address corruption in high places, and also a national website for tracking medication shortages in Romania.
