I gave my talk here on Tuesday, entitled: Building a Global Library for People with Print Disabilities. A tech guy from Egypt was the standout moment for me so far. I was attending a session organized by the library association, IFLA, and he got up and talked about how Egypt does not have a culture of reading.

It bears mentioning that the executive summary of our findings (in several languages) and full report (in English) are available at no cost to everyone. Also, developing countries like Egypt, South Africa, Mexico/Latin America, and India report plans to move to the cloud faster than everywhere else. What Didn't Surprise Me.

We released our report on the 2012 TechSoup Global NGO Cloud Survey in September of 2012 and have now had a few months to ponder the findings and talk to several of you about what you think of them. TechSoup Global's NGO cloud survey found plenty of contradictions and confusion about cloud computing. The global NGO average is 36%.

So people that speak multiple languages or that live in different countries that have different ways of communicating and of seeing the world. I’ve lived in Egypt. So WhatsApp is available in multiple languages. So you can download the app in any language almost. The second step is talk to people in their language.
