A plaintiff’s motion for class certification in a Blackbaud data breach case has been rejected by a judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina Columbia Division. Blackbaud ultimately paid a ransom in bitcoin in return for the hackers’ assurance that the data would be destroyed. Anderson Jr.
