When they leave here, I want my students to continue to question, learn, teach, and continue to use their education to change the world. A lot of what we existed were drop-in projects—people coming in to teach one activity or work on a project and then leave. I’m very grateful to those young people for teaching me so much.

The environment for learning is no longer in the classroom and its online, and outside of school. "We are in a moment of time where 57% of teens produce and share media. There is a gap in social skills, experience, and knowledge when you only have 10-15 minutes of access in library versus 24/7 access at home.
