Hunger is a global issue that affects everyone, everywhere. A couple of weeks ago, we announced our first cohort on Zero Hunger, focusing on food insecurity in the United States. But as we know, getting to Zero Hunger will take collaboration from all regions, with multiple approaches to address the contributing factors.

Their priorities range from facilitating book donation drives to supporting arts education to funding playground construction and family literacy programs. . They focus on supporting smaller and newer 501(c)(3) organizations so that the foundation’s gift can make a more significant contribution to the work of the recipient organization.

  I also talked to the volunteers about why they were so passionate about the issue of ending childhood hunger. I also met Alex Volkonsky who design depicts whimsical vegetables and fruits as well as a milk cartoon (emphasizing the need to children who need to drink their milk everyday for healthy bones).
