(Click through to the larger version to read the poster) I've been going to meetings on information island at the TechSoup area in Second Life where a small group of avatars interested in nonprofits and Second Life have been busy working on some exciting plans lead by Susan Tenby of TechSoup. Next meeting is 10:30 a.m. I reserved my seat.

Avatars and links to profiles for Twitter-ers in the Community. A Flickr gallery of all TAFA pictures from last year. A Register now button (helping engage and excite visitors first then pulling them to join the event). Tweetup invite and signup , with the number of registrants appearing in real time.

That's my avatar, I'm live blogging from Second Life. Photo from public photos tagged with macarthur in NMC flickr stream. Several avatars were also in "real life" in New York City. These are complex learning environments where young people are making decisions, learning and collaborating with peers, etc.
