In fact, the slides (while minimal) contain content that was not covered in the session, since we focused only on the questions of most audience interest. We talked honestly and openly about a range of virtual worlds projects, ranging from the funded to the unfunded, the small (serving 20+ students) to large.

So imagine my delight to visit Explora in Albuquerque. The overwhelming experience I had while touring it wasn't excitement or craziness or childishness - it was contented wonder. There were also beautiful art/science posters on most walls around the science center. I never knew a science center could be so peaceful.
