She is the Advocacy and Public Relation Officer for the Cambodian Center for Human Rights. This was a trip to bring urban young people to experience life in a rural area and to deliver school supplies for children who live in the province and are very poor. How come there are not so many BlogHers in Cambodia?

I have two favorites: The Sharing Foundation which supports children in Cambodia and Creative Commons.

As I mentioned in a post a couple weeks ago, I've started writing a weekly feature over at Blogher called Solutionary Women. MOMS is a grassroots movement of pregnant women, nursing mothers, and other caregivers who are concerned about the threat that environmental contaminants pose to our unborn and nursing children.

" Learning to Give goal is to educate children about the independent sector and philanthropy. Why did I go?

An organizer on our team, George Goehl, went to help the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition in anyway he could. This lesson hit home for us last year around the vote for the DREAM Act (a bill that would allow undocumented students, brought here as children, to have access to higher education).
