Internet platforms make it is easy for crowds to vote, rate, and provide feedback. Think Yelp , eBay , or Amazon. NTEN used a hybrid crowdsourcing approach to solicit panel proposals for its NTC 2011, similar in design and approach to the method SXSW has used. Conferences have taken this approach to shaping their agenda.
