For the past ten days, I’ve been in Rwanda, Africa. My experience so far has been to develop curriculum – mostly focused on technology that is adapted in different countries by local organizations. Most of the training days took place in rural Rwanda on Lake Muhazi – which was a beautiful place.

If you are in charge of communications for your nonprofit or NGO, I recommend you read The She Spot: Why Women Are the Market for Changing the World, and How to Reach Them by Lisa Witter and Lisa Chen. MoveOn.org was one of the first organizations that really pioneered this with technology. Real people were behind the organization.
