Ushahidi has been developing open-source crisis mapping software for over eight years now. Surveyor is for teams collecting multiple data types from many sources. These posts have benefited an estimated 20 million people in stricken areas like Haiti in 2010 and Nepal in 2015. These folks do astonishing work.
