This year's summit will be held in Miami Beach, Florida on October 14 and 15 with the theme of "Prospering in Recessionary Times.". ICRS is one of the lesser-known events in the electronics recycling industry.

Eventually, we may build a certification program, like LEED for green buildings, or B Corps for social enterprise. Our near-term goal is to enroll at least 200 organizations by the end of 2020, collectively pledging to involve one million new people in their work.

A good example of such a program is Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley Assistive Technology Services. An additional benefit is that they are all green nonprofits in that they extend the lives of donated IT equipment and supply it to those for whom it can literally be a lifeline. This nonprofit has been running for over 20 years.
