One of the most frequent questions Im asked as I meet nonprofit communications professionals, is for advice on choosing a CRM. Ask about security: are they PCI Compliant (you can look this up on Wikipedia), and if so what level? They see this as a fun challenge and laugh a lot. I could go on and on but those are some key ones.
