Ideally, rather than a taxonomy set by me, we could create a folksonomy (in the Web 2.0 Otherwise this becomes just another collection gathering (virtual) dust. spirit) that is driven by your interests and site use. I'm painfully aware of the fact that 60% of you are coming here for the first time and may not be getting what you want.

And this year it may very well be virtual volunteering. Jayne Cravens has a great piece on the topic here and you find an excellent how-to article for using SKYPE with virtual volunteers here. The article offers some clear explanations of taxonomies and folksonomies, but goes on to give many reasons why you should dislike folksonomies.
