So, I decided to mark the Anniversary in flickr , blog post, and this vlog post. I found a few recipes for compression, although not a windows/quicktime pro one. What I learned: I used the MPEG-4 compression because the file is compatible with both versions 6 & 7 of the QuickTime player, and it will playback on older computers.

We agreed You Tube should be used to showcase video when we decided to experiment with other forms of "emerging technology" like Digg, Flickr, etc. How did the idea of using YouTube to message about your organization come about? It was an experiment to see if pushing SEIU in non-traditional areas for us would prove popular.
